Dear friends, listen to the testimonies of our brothers and sisters Halim, Ah Mei and Gary (not their real names). They are all rebuilding their lives by learning new skills and realizing that they are not alone and that God loves them.

Gary has made a name for himself as a electrician, Halim is learning computer skills and doing well in school, and Ah Mei is taking courses in sewing. All this is great.

You can be part of it by being a friend to them and help many people like them by giving your time and finances. On their behalf, Highpoint thanks you for your love, care and concern. Please don’t stop giving! May God bless you even more as you bless others by clicking here!

My name is Gary (not his real name), and I am an ex-offender. Most of my fellow inmates are like me… we've been in and out of prison many times. I've tried to quit drugs, so many times, so many ways. But so many failures. Only now with Highpoint I feel like maybe I can make it.

Here, I can just focus on fighting the constant temptations to "use". I'm fed, cared for, held accountable by my "brothers" and strengthened spiritually - which gives me the greatest strength. The staff counsels me and trains me so that I can reintegrate into society. I am also learning to serve others.

I'm still fighting against the temptation, but it gets better each day... slowly. Please help me to continue with this programme until I'm totally set free.

Please donate to Highpoint ex-offenders programme.

Donate to Aceh Relief Work

My name is Halim (not his real name). My brothers and I used to play by the sea when my father went fishing. The sea has eaten my father and my brother. Now we are struggling because our homes and boats were destroyed.

Highpoint has given us help in many ways. They have people staying with us to help us. They also have Singapore and international people come to visit us. Each time they come I make new friends. They have taught me many new games; I've even learned to use the computer!

HighPoint also given us a livelihood and my mother has learned to make simple crafts and other items. Maybe God will help my mother and me, since the waves have eaten my father.

Donate to Dayspring

DaySpring is a fully self-funded initiative under the umbrella of HighPoint Community Services Association, a member of the National Council of Social Services with IPC status where all donations are tax deductable.

DaySpring is setting up a Residential Treatment Centre (RTC) to bring hope and healing to young teenage girls who have experienced the trauma of abuse, whether it be physical, sexual, emotional, or neglect. It will cost $1.7million to fund the set up and two years’ operating cost of the Residential Treatment Centre as well as our Counselling Centre. We hope to raise $200,000 from a fundraising dinner in March 2010; $150,000 from a charity golf event in May 2010 at which Mr. Mah Bow Tan will be our guest-of-honour; $350,000 through President’s Challenge 2010 and the balance of $1,000,000 from other sources.

We would be grateful if you will help us to meet our target. A cash donation will go a long way in advancing our cause, which has already seen impact and helped many women to find renewed hope in life.
