HighPoint Life Center

HighPoint Halfway House

HighPoint currently operates a residential rehabilitation program for male ex-offenders who are addicted to substances including sleeping pills as well as other related addictive behaviours. Admission is done through an interviewing procedure whereby the client will be admitted based on his suitability for the residential programme.

Residents undergo a holistic training program where we address the individual’s recovery needs through counseling and groupwork. We also provide life skills’ preparation and on-the-job training and spiritual growth to help them reintegrate back to society. A vital component includes reconciliation with their families.

HighPoint operates a number of social enterprise businesses from its Geylang premise, giving employment in the form of work therapy for the residents of the halfway house. The revenue is being channeled to fund our programmes as we are not granted any funding by the government.

Besides the halfway house, families of the ex-offenders are engaged and supported with necessary assistance and care. We also help women ex-offenders who approach us directly for assistance or by referral from other agencies. They are presently given non-residential mentoring, counselling and lifeskills training.
